We are Detail Building

Detail Building Contractors Ltd were contracted to do extensive construction and refurbishment work at our residence from August to November 2015.

The work included an entirely new roof (clay tiles, with 3 pitched and 5 flat roof sections), considerable structural work in the loft room (shoring and expanding), expansion and replacement of an ensuite bathroom and a new oak staircase. Several smaller items of brickwork, woodwork and decoration were also performed.

As several specialist trades were involved, many simultaneously, the entire Project was managed and overseen by Detail Building. They had their hands full as it was a reasonably complicated Project on a large 1936 residence, with several on-site findings which necessitated additional structural, electrical and woodwork modifications.

We are extremely pleased with the way that Detail Building managed and completed our Project. They and their subcontracted tradesmen were prompt, polite and very careful with our property. They kept the worksite clean and safe, and even though we remained living in the property throughout the works they managed to work around us.

I would have no hesitation in recommending Detail Building Contractors Ltd to any person or company intending to do building or renovation work, whether large or small. They have been a pleasure to work with, and we found them to be honest, reliable and very helpful; no problem was found that did not also have a suitable proposed solution. In short, we have no complaints at all.

We also authorise Detail Building Contractors Ltd to use photographs of the exterior and interior of our residence at their discretion, in order to demonstrate the work that they are capable of.
